This blog is a rambling and reflective journal of our long and emotional journey to adopt our daughter, Tya, from China. We welcome you to join us, support us and enjoy this momentous occassion with us. Why Tya as a name you may ask? Tyendinaga was the name of the reserve where Jeff grew up...so Tya for short.

Ladybugs mean....
A couple of months ago at the AVC Open House Kennah chose a Ladybug for her face-painting and a butterfly on the other cheek. She said, "Ladybugs mean Tya is coming and I always wish for Butterflies." She really does...when she wishes on stars at night or when she blows on an eyelash or blows her candles out...she says, I wish for Butterflies. I always say, wish for a million dollars honey!

"wishing for butterflies" - that is one of the cutest things I've ever heard. Miss you Kennah!
Kennah is sooo adorable , it's true, everytime we see a ladybug she says "that means Tya will be here soon". I can't wait to meet Tya, we have been waiting so long.. she will truly be loved!
I love this blog ... keep blogging !!!!!
Too funny, well if you gotta wish for a bug, why not butterflies I guess, they don't seem to bother anyone.
Everytime I seen a ladybug while I was waiting for Sugar Pie it would remind me to say a prayer for her. Now when I see one I'll say one for Honey Bunch!
Can't wait to see Miss K and Miss T together!
